MY STORY

From Anxiety to Empowerment: My Journey to Creating Zenlyfe

Growing Up with Anxiety

From a young age, I always felt different. While other kids seemed to navigate school effortlessly, I found myself overwhelmed by anxiety—my mind constantly racing, my heart pounding at the thought of speaking up in class or even walking through crowded hallways. It wasn’t just the pressure of academics; it was the feeling of being trapped in my own head, unable to switch off the worry.

School became a battlefield where every social interaction felt like an obstacle. I’d overanalyze conversations, dread public speaking, and constantly feel out of place. No one really talked about mental health back then—not in a way that made sense to me. I felt alone in the struggle, convinced that something was wrong with me.

The Turning Point

As I grew older, I realized I wasn’t the only one dealing with this. I started diving into self-improvement, mindfulness, and different techniques to manage anxiety. Through trial and error, I discovered that small changes—like meditation, breathing exercises, and even fidget tools—made a huge difference in calming my mind. Slowly, I built strategies that helped me regain control.

But I knew I wanted to do more. I wanted to help others who felt like I did—especially children who might be struggling with anxiety the way I did when I was younger.

Why I Created Zenlyfe

Zenlyfe was born out of a personal mission: to create a space where people struggling with anxiety, ADHD, and stress could find real, practical tools to help them feel more in control. Whether it’s fidget toys, relaxation tools, or mindfulness techniques, everything I curate is designed to bring comfort and relief.

I know firsthand how overwhelming anxiety can be, but I also know that the right tools and mindset can change everything. Zenlyfe isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement to help others feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Marky's World of Emotions – Helping Kids Navigate Anxiety

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that anxiety doesn’t just affect adults—it affects children too. When I was younger, I didn’t have the words to express what I was going through. That’s why I created Marky's World of Emotions, a series of children's books designed to help kids understand and manage their emotions in a fun, engaging, and comforting way.

These books use relatable characters, gentle storytelling, and simple coping techniques to help children feel seen and supported. Whether it’s tackling anxiety, self-confidence, or mindfulness, my goal is to give kids (and their parents) the tools to navigate big emotions.
